Moon Shots

I seem to have an interest in photographing the moon. So we were going to have a “Blood Red Moon” I thought I would take a shot at it. I needed to set up by 5:30 am and the temperature was 19 degrees. One thing I have learned is if you want to shot the moon you will have to do it in the knight. Nights are usually cold! Also you depend on clear skies which is not common in New England. So these are my best shots. There was too much atmosphere to get the moon in sharp focus.

I have had good luck photographing the moon in the past. After I got this picture I realized that I had always wanted to do that. Probably with growing up with National Geographic Magazines.
